This course brings together all of the elements learned from other traditional arts, and combines them into its own unique art. The most dominant MMA fighters on the planent are renowned for their ability to seamlessly weave techniques from such arts wrestling, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and express them effectively into an independent martial art. This class will emphasize transitions between the martial arts, no gi grappling, striking techniques with “small” gloves (4 oz.), “ground and pound,” fight theories, discipline based game plans, as well as other sport fighting topics such as nutrition, mental preparation, and MMA rules. Sparring and live grappling with controlled strikes can be expected in this course, and this class is recommended for more experienced students or those looking to eventually compete in the sport.
